About My Counseling Services

Professional Woman

I specialize in working with adolescents (ages 11-17 years old) and adults who are having issues in their relationship or coping with life changes. Most of us want to feel heard, accepted, loved and have the freedom to be and express who we are. But, when we are hurt, afraid of rejection, hit a rut in our relationship or have an unexpected crisis happen being ourselves or knowing what to do next can be hard.

When dealing with pain, change or issues in our relationship it can be helpful to talk openly to a professional who can help us process our feelings, heal and discover what we need to rebuild our life or relationships. Through counseling, I help clients address their pain or challenges in relationships, relational or emotional issues they have and help them discover what they need to heal, create stronger relationships and build a better life for themselves. Working on loving ourselves, identifying and prioritizing our needs, setting boundaries and communication are also strategies we can work on together in counseling.

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have health insurance or who are not using health insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

•You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

•Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

•If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

•Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services website listed in the link below.
